CCIC organizes faith based communities in Contra Costa County into a human service network. We work closely with social services in the county who provide food, shelter and clothing to the needy. Our network of volunteers collect and deliver furniture, household goods, infant items and food boxes to families referred to us by agencies in the county.
Additionally, we cook and serve meals at local shelters and participate in the Winter Nights Family Emergency Shelter Program but we dont stop there! Take a look at our other projects below and remember we are always looking for volunteers!

I'm a retired Mechanical Engineer and Naval officer. For the last 10 years I've been Math/Woodshop/Engineering teacher at Clayton Valley Charter High School in Clayton.
I've had a passion for helping less fortunate folks for as long as I can remember. CCIC has helped satisfy that passion and then some.
"After retiring from a 40 year career of teaching and research as a Professer of Chemistry, I decided to focus on more useful, spiritual, and, charitable activities. CCIC provides the opportunity to help those in need and also enrich my spirit."
