Basic cleaning supplies are provided based on need especially those transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing.

CCIC member churches supply boxes of food to assist a family in food crisis. These food boxes are kept in the vehicles of county social service workers and are available to their clients when a visit determines an emergency need.

Donation Furniture program

Bridging needs and services in Contra Costa County

Quality furniture and household item donations are picked up and delivered to those in need by a dedicated team of volunteer drivers.

Kitchen Starter KITS

Qualified families can receive food gift cards that when they need assistance in meeting their food needs at the end of the month. The families on this program receive assistance for a limited time until the family can support themselves.

Donations of clean and gently used sheets, blankets, comforters, etc. are given to families in need. Our member churches will have occasional “linen drives” to support this program.
